Hello! I was away from the board for a bit but now I'm back. My weightloss journy has been going well but I'm feeling the need for a bit more accounability and support.
When I started in July I was over 238 lbs...I don't own a scale so I'm not sure what I was exactly. Instead I rely on measurements. So, since July 18 my hips have gone down from 48 inches to 44.5 and my waist went from 42 to 38.
I'm not following a diet as such other than changing the foods I eat, when I eat, and the amount of activity I do in a day. I try to eat all natural, organic foods following the Canadian food guide ( I occassionally slip up and have a cupcake but everyone needs a fault!).
As for exercise I walk back and forth to work everyday (round trip it's one hour), bellydancing twice a week (LOVE IT), weights and crunches almost everyday, and speed walking up steep hills at least once over the weekend.
There have been some ups and downs but I'm getting there.
Please state your name, state, stats and what plan you are following...........counting inches? Add those too!
My name is Serena. I live in South Carolina. 273.5/255/145 (lean). I'm following the Atkins Diet. Obstacles are getting in my way with this though. I've lost several inches all over my body, but it's been a while since i've measured.
