Hi All,

I am new to posting but have been lurking for some time. I am getting very discouraged and frustrated with myself because I cant seem to stick to my goals. I want to lose the weight, but i cant seem to get the time or energy to exercise, and the diets i have tried just sucked. Do you guys have any advice?

I'm new here is well and have no tried and true method. I did just want to say that you deserve to be a healthier you so don't give up looking for what works for you. I hope that your discouragement will turn into encouragement very soon.

Without knowing more about you, I can't really offer any specific advice other than to keep coming here. You may have noticed that many of us are having trouble getting motivated lately, too. So we're going to start a series of challenges. Perhaps if you participate in those, you'll find your own niche (you might find journaling helps you, or cutting out just one certain food, or finding an exercise you like.)

Nice thing about the challenges is that they usually only last a week (we might try longer-term ones too) so that's enough time to see if you like it, but not so long that you get frustrated with whatever it is (:
