Sorry I've been MIA for the past few days, but I've been very busy getting our livingroom and dining room ready to paint.

Rose, where in California are you from? I graduated from Napa High in 1969. Have fun painting, yuk, I hate to paint. Also if you don't clean your walls the paint will not stick right and can peel off. :-) Stephanie

I was wondering how it was going switching from low carb to counting calories. Sounds like it is going well. Keep us updated. I am just curious how they compare. Happy painting. sharla

Nice to see you back again, Rose :) I like to paint, but I hate all the prep work! Just think of all the calories you burned while washing the walls, though. And think of how great your rooms are gonna look when you're all done!

If you don't wash the walls before you paint, you run the risk of the paint not adhering well to the walls due to the dirt that is on the old paint. In some areas, like around light switches, it(the new paint) will just peel off if not washed first. Can you tell we bought a major dump and had to redo it all? lol

Yep, if you don't wash the walls prior, it will start peeling and not adhere like it should.
