Hi, just wondering what type of diet plans worked best for you. I hate not having flexibility so I'm not sure if any of the "popular" plans (Atkins, Zone, etc.) will work for me.

Hi and welcome here! If you want flexibility, I'd suggest you check out Weight Watchers. I used to do it (got lazy basically) and it's very easy and very flexible. You can really eat whatever you want - you just have to stay within your points range per day. So if you have the points to eat a piece of cake or a ribeye steak, then go for it. That kind of thing. You can also choose from three different plans although only two of them are formally supported, and you can do it at home, go to meetings, or do it online! (Or any combo of the three.) There are tons of WW cookbooks and recipes online which makes cooking easy.

That's my suggestion for a flexible lifestyle (:

Unfortunately no program works for everyone.

Now that's the type of response I was looking for...how to try it for FREE. I never understood the point of trying something like that out and having to pay for it if you didn't know if it was going to work or not.

When I started, I went to ebay and bought a package...it had the points book, the restraunt guide, some recipe cards, the calculator and some other things.

Thanks! I had no idea you could buy the stuff without joining. I always assumed it was some big secret thing you couldn't do without being a member.

Hi and welcome! I don't follow any specific diet. I'm just trying to eat healthier, watch my portions and get in exercise 3-4 times a week. So far this has worked for me, but the weight loss has slowed down recently. I hope you find what works for you.
