Hi, just wondering what type of diet plans worked best for you. I hate not having flexibility so I'm not sure if any of the "popular" plans (Atkins, Zone, etc.) will work for me.

Hi and welcome here! If you want flexibility, I'd suggest you check out Weight Watchers. I used to do it (got lazy basically) and it's very easy and very flexible. You can really eat whatever you want - you just have to stay within your points range per day. So if you have the points to eat a piece of cake or a ribeye steak, then go for it. That kind of thing. You can also choose from three different plans although only two of them are formally supported, and you can do it at home, go to meetings, or do it online! (Or any combo of the three.) There are tons of WW cookbooks and recipes online which makes cooking easy.
That's my suggestion for a flexible lifestyle (:

When I started, I went to ebay and bought a package...it had the points book, the restraunt guide, some recipe cards, the calculator and some other things.
Hi there and welcome!

Hi and welcome! I don't follow any specific diet. I'm just trying to eat healthier, watch my portions and get in exercise 3-4 times a week. So far this has worked for me, but the weight loss has slowed down recently. I hope you find what works for you.
