I don't know what plan to try

Well I need to lose at least 100 lbs, I weigh 265 , I just want some feedback as to what plans you all use, I'm thinking of weightwatchers, or herbalife, slimworks plan. I just don't know which is more conveneient, I mean weightwatchers is by far cheaper, but slimworks will curb my hunger, ( I have a major sweettooth)
thanks \

Personally, I have just cut back on calorie and fat intake, I don't really follow any "diet", instead, I'm working on changing my eating habits in a way that will stay with me the rest of my life, not just until I lose the weight. I've also cut out any drinks with sugar and have begun drinking a lot of water, plus grandually increasing my exercise (starting weights next week, I think).
Best of luck!

I am on a low carb, low fat diet, no printed plan only what I know, and I like it. I have been on many plans; Atkins and WW were the only plans I lost weight on.
Finding the right diet plan for you is like trying on shoes. You have to try on different pairs to see which fits you right.
On Weight Watchers I had to pay for the weekly group meeting. And when you have a great leader it makes the world of difference. However, I felt like I was losing way too slow. And I guess I just wasn't ready to lose weight. AND I didn't UNDERSTAND (KNOW) MY BODY enough to know what made it gain weight.
On Atkins, I realized I was a carboholic. Plain and simple. I love any carb product. Potatoes and bread are my down fall. (allowed on ww in moderation) Now that I know my body will gain weight very fast on carbs, I watch straches and suger that I consume.
If you drink lots of water (you know this) the more you will lose. Combine that with exercise (which I just can't get into) your efforts will be doubled.
We have some exercising ladies on this board!
Good Luck

Welcome aboard.!
I use WW myself, I had done it before in the past and was sucessful with it.
I have been doing it since April 15th 2004 and have lost 89.5 #s.
I work out 5 to 6 days per week as well. I do a lot of cardio, abs, weights, and strength training. I take one night off a week from the gym usually or two if I am really drained from working a lot of hours.
I also give myself one cheat meal a week. Where I have anything I want, enjoy it, get it over with and move on.
i have modified Atkins and South Beach Diet to my likings.
I like the Slimfast drinks, they are the best... as far as LowCarb can be good.
the SlimFast board at www.slimfast.com is great for menu planning.
Atkins seems to expensive for all the Xtras to me..
i just don't eat sugar. i do eat stuff that has Splenda in it.
i will not on purpose eat anything with Asparatme in it... too much info out there about how bad it is for you. not sure who is right and not.. but it startles me.
a good exercise routine like Walk Away the Pounds with Leslie SAnsone or
anything Denise Austin is also a good way to start out.
a year ago i wighed 260 and now today i am at 182. my goal is 145 and i am getting closer. since September of this year i have gained 13 pounds.. by just sitting and eating at work.
i quit my job and am planning on starting back at they gym..
for more reasons than none, i will be 140ish by May 2005.
I did ww , and i liked it, but my whole thing with it is the nearest one to me is like in another city, and I did it online, and i didn't like tht too much of a pain. mainly because you don't have a book to take with you and record your points you have to do it online and sometimes you just cant get to a computer, I also don't have a doctor, I don't have insurance, so theres another problem.
Thanks everyone for their input.
