Okay. I admit it. I had a baaad few days. I stayed nowhere near my goal of staying on my chosen food plan. I started my period, ate absolutely everything in sight and I knew better. Oh well...not much else I can do about it at this point right? I just don't want to jump on that scale and find out how much I gained. I did good last week and lost a total of 10lbs. I probably gained it all back. *sigh* I guess I have to face the music...hold on...I'm going to go jump on the scale...(cheesy hold muzak)...ok thanks for holding. I gained 5lbs. Guess I will just have to buckle down to lose them again. It should be easier in about 4 days (period will be gone). Thanks for listening to me vent.

Vent away, but it's probably not as bad as you think. It's your period and you may have also eaten salty bad stuff that made you retain even more water. The scale jump is brutal, but try to look at it in context. You're on an overall losing trend, right? And it seems that you're not going to trash it all because of a few nasty days of raging hormones-- that's fantastic!
(But, sweet, please upgrade the hold muzak as soon as possible...)
