What a good question-- and sorry for the late response. My computer went on holiday!?!
I'd like to halve my weight (267/2 = 133.5 lbs.), maybe because the math's simple that way. My "normal" weight when I was in my early 20's hovered around 125. (And I STILL remember some idiot screaming out his car windows "Look at that big ole butt" when I was around 140! If he'd only waited!) I'm hoping to keep myself to a steady average loss of 10 lbs a month this year. When I started losing weight about a year ago, I was foolishly looking for the quick fix and then started to yoyo and get frustrated. Bad plan! If I'd been moderate, and stuck to it, I wouldn't be right back at the start again...
Well, it's been over six months since I broke past the 200s, so I don't think about it too much. I guess at the time I was pleased. The big milestones for me have been the halfway point and fitting into a pair of size 14 jeans from Eddie Bauer. The next big milestone will be getting out of the 170s.
I am new to the board as of today, I'm looking for support in my weight loss journey. I've yo-yo'd a lot over the last ten years, I'm 25, I ballooned after puberty, skinny as a stick prior to. A lot of my trouble has been accepting that I'm going to stay overweight if I don't change my ways. I always thought that since I didn't change my ways to gain, I would eventually lose if I just didn't alter. I've tried altering several times and have had successful weight losses, usually 20-40 pounds in 1-2 months, I don't know why, but I never keep up my successful habits once I hit that time mark. So, anyway, I need to lose, depending on whose weight chart you use, anywhere from 160-200 pounds. I desperately want a baby, but don't want to put myself and my baby at risk by getting pregnant in my condition.
I'm looking to lose 140# total, which is slightly more than half of my starting weight. I was doing really well until about 2 weeks ago when my grandpa died and I've been traveling a lot, not exercising, plus all the funeral food and holiday stuff going on. But with all that being said, I've only gained back 6#, so I don't think that's too bad. I'm going to start weight training this week at the gym if I can get up the courage (always feel like people are looking at me).

So, once more, it's:

304.5/304.5/140?
I want to lose 100 pounds. First though, just beginning to exercise again and getting under 200 would be great. :)
