Hey ladies,
As some of you know I am on vacation this week. LONG overdue. I have been sleeping A LOT and staying OP (except for tonight). I have been really hitting the gym too and enjoying it since I am not so pressed for time.
I am on WW, I decided to get weighed in while I was on vacation. I have stayed OP over the holiday and tonight was weigh in. Well I was down 4.6 #s which is a great loss over the holiday but a big milestone as well. I have lost 100.1 #s. :)
To celebrate I went and ATE lol. Not the best plan. But weigh in night is usually a cheat night for me. I had some BBQ, Potatoe Salad, and a Brownie Sundae that I split LOL. DARN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was it good.
I am sure I gained all 4#s back, but hey it tasted good and its been a long time since I have had something I really had been craving.
Thanks for everyones support here is to the next 50!

Hey Jodi! Always nice to see a new face and a Jodi at that LOL.
I am doing Weight Watchers, the flex points plan. I like it because I have options. I also hit the gym pretty hard, usually 6 days a week. I have been doing weight watchers since April 15th 2004. So 9 months. I still have quite a ways to go, after last night I have some catch up to do as well LOL. Oopsie.
Welcome ! Glad to see you are here for support there are a lot of great ladies here.

That is SO awesome, congratulations! Even your "cheat" sounds pretty
minor. You must have great strength to have achieved so well!
OK, * ahem*, enquiring minds REALLY want to know. And I apologize that I've been away from the board long enough to have missed your journey, but I did the math... average of something like 10 pounds a month, right? Sweet! I'm WW as well (lapsed). Was your loss pretty steady, or were there hills/valleys? What was the toughest period? Any suggestions for getting through it? And are you happy with the way your skin, etc. ,is reacting?
Sorry for the prying, just a huge fan of getting tips from the successful! Any insights you're comfortable sharing would be great. Thanks...
Mickie

Thanks everyone!
Mickie- I always have cheat night. One meal a week after weigh in. I have to otherwise I think I would have gone nuts. I do notice a pattern, I usually have two really decent weeks back to back and than I slow down to a .5 loss or a 1 loss. I usually think my body is getting used to what I am putting in it. Or that my workout needs to change and that usually helps.
My workouts are a LOT of running. Just recently I switched it up a little. I slowed down on the running, I have started a hill program on the treadmill that is pretty intense and I walk at about a 4.5 pace and than jog at a 6mph pace alternating every two minutes. It keeps me from getting bored and it really has helped.
As far as my skin goes, no I am not happy with it at all. I have flabby arms and I am going to need a tummy tuck and some other things. I am not a person for plastic surgery but I didn't want to come all this way and still be so unhappy with my body. So I will be having it done. I set my mind to doing this and I want to accomplish my final goal and than get my body in the shape I would like to see it in.
I think WW is a great plan, I have my moments where I feel it may not bring me to my final goal but I know I have to work hard with it and it will happen, slowly but surely.
Take care everyone, Happy New Year.
