I began a to diet and excise and was doing good until I started to crave something sweet and went on a beign for a whole day what can I substuite sweets with

If you have to have something sweet, I'd suggest fruits (unless you're doing low carb, I guess.) Like certain kinds of apples, grapes, oranges, that kind of thing. You could also try making baked stuff using splenda. Also, lowfat/no fat puddings and jellos. Yogurt. Sugar-free candies, or the low carb/carbfree candies that are out now.


Of course not binging is the best, but maybe if you allow yourself something sweet every week (or every day if you must), then you won't feel the NEED to binge (:

Interesting...I dont think I have ever heard anyone refer to it as "eating rage".

I use a tiny bit of protein like cheese or a tiny dab of peanut butter. It really works for me.

my craving are usually at 4 and 8, I would eat cheese and peanut butter crackers, they are good for the afternoon, and my late snack would be either cookies,bars or a sandwiche. Its hard, especially with you have kids snacking. I have recently bought food that I can eat, fruit, whole grain wheat bread. The kids will not eat them, and perfer to starve instead. They will come around. My kids are in High School, so not like they can' buy their own snacks. This week I have been doing going I would just have a half of a sandwich with either peanut butter, or lunch meat. That satisfied me. I have it that I don't eat bread during meal times, and wait for snack.
Its a long hard progress, but we can do it!!
