Is there a way to avoid getting loose skin after weight loss? Moisturizers, etc?

I am about 90 lbs overweight, and this is one of my biggest concerns. My stomach is where most of my weight is, and unlike many women, it doesnt "roll" it is straight out like a pg woman, or a basketball! So needless to say i have a ton of stretch marks, just like if i was about 6 months pg.

Don't know what to tell you about your stretch marks...I still have mine from being pregnant. They have gotten lighter but you can still see them.

If anyone has a miracle to make my skin look like it use to prior to fat and pregnancy let me know.

Unfortunately, you probably will end up with some loose tummy skin, if that's where most of your weight is. Being 24 and losing the weight slowly will definitely help, though. Also lots of ab work, try yoga and/or Pilates as well as your regular exercise. Lots of water to keep the skin hydrated and healthy. Good luck (:

No one call really tell you whether it will bounce back or not.

there is no telling if you will have loose skin or not until the end of your weight loss journey and you are just trying to maintain however i have heard many times that if you drink lots of water and keep your skin heathly and hydrated then it helps age does help some but not for all and a slow weight lose does help also but not always
as for strech marks they are something that will fade over time I have had some for years im only 23 but i began to develop very early in life so i have had them on my breast for a very long time i can see however where some have faded on other parts of my body something that works very good to "mask" them is sally Hanson air legs i use it on any part of my body that i think is going to be exposed when im going out dancing and stuff and it does help
good luck with everything

Another good thing with stretch marks, as I understand, is using cocoa butter. I had a friend that was 37 and pregnant, and she rubbed cocoa butter on her belly every night before bed. Her stretch marks were gone completely within a couple weeks of having her baby, and she never exercised!
