If you eat less, will your tummy actually shrink so that you won't ALWAYS be hungry?

Your stomach does contract and expand as you loose or gain weight.
Your metabolism changes and typically you need to intake less and less. For me I can tell when I have over done it now and its with a lot less food than before.

Yes, the size of your stomach actually changes, this is the point of WLS, to make your stomach smaller, so you feel full faster, because not much can fit in it. It takes about a week or so of eating so much for it to change, and even so, it does it slowly, but that is one of the things that happens.
Also, your taste buds replace themselves every few days, but all of them are totally replaced after about a month. You will find that if you change your diet (ie cutting out sweets or fats), that after a month, if you taste the same foods, they won't taste good. If find this with eating fast foods. The trouble is, that I eat fast foods because of my mental situation (not wanting to cook, feeling like I don't have time), and so I just start again, even though I think it's gross.
Just some thoughts.

No wonder fast food burgers don't taste good to me any more! I agree that your stomach shrinks...I have proven that to my self.
