or should I say top....(of the scale that is).
Hi all, 33 y.o. mom of 2 girls from Boston. I am hoping this is my last attempt to get my overeating under control. I am 10 pounds or so down from my all time heaviest weight. I am a lifetime dieter (at least since my teens) but have really put on my weight since starting my family 8 years ago. I know that is not a new story. The funny thing is, I gain more weight after giving birth. I am not taking very good care of myself and I am trying to change that. I went back to the gym after Christmas and have already worked out more this year than I ever did last year..haha. Today I decided it is really time to focus on my eating. I am going to try to follow along with WW points I think just to get an idea of how much I am eating. I don't plan to go to meetings, I just want an idea of my calories for the day.
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from those of you that are winning this war. I need the support and hope to be able to return the favor someday!!! Thanks.
Kay

Hi and welcome here, Kay (: Which WW plan are you going to do? I did WW a while ago on Winning Points and lost 10 lbs very easily combining that with water and exercise. Sounds like you're already on the right track with the gym membership.

I am just a young girl in need of some
Hi and thanks for the welcome.
To be honest, I have done the WW points several times. The program has always worked when I continue to work at it but inevitable in the past I have fallen off track and thrown in the towel. I am not strictly adhering to the program but using the points as a guideline for now until I get back into the mindset of what quantity of food I can eat. I find that I often start to eat healthier and then deprive myself...I always found with WW I was getting enough food. I am really trying to knock out any of the processed foods. I truly believe getting back to food's most natural sources will help me. I am doing a lot of cooking from scratch instead throwing prepackaged things together. It is more time consuming but I am trying to get into the habit since my life is a little less hectic right now. Hopefully it will be a well established routine before I am back in school. Again, thanks for the welcome.
