First off, thanks to everyone for the advice! I really liked ilovemovie's advice about breakfast and lunch. (Gotta go grocery shopping now :) My question is this...one, i have a really hard time drinking the amount of water i should because i teach kinder, and i can't leave the little ones alone to go down to the restroom (i am at the far end of the hall! lol). Has anyone else "trained" themselves to drink most of their water late in the day, and does that work? Two, i have started some weight training, and i'm unsure of how to proceed on on that. What do you recommend? Whole body every other day w/ cardio,(like MWF w/ TTh off) or target muscle groups (arms, etc.) w/ cardio, rotating what muscle group you are working on (i.e. arms on Mon., legs on Tues, chest on Wed., etc.) Thanks so much!

Why not keep a water bottle in your room and drink it throughout the day. If not you can drink some before school, At lunch time, and after school and during any specials. That would be 24-32 oz right there.
For the weights. My personal trainer set me up a schedule that had 45 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weights each day. I started with the cardio to warm up my body. I had 2 weight schedules. Both were whole body but they worked different muscles. If you are working out every day you need to make sure you give each muscle group a day of rest. Kathy Smith has a great video called Lift weights to lose weight that you can either do whole body every other day for 45 minutes or do upper body one day for 20 minutes and lower body one day for 20 minutes.
Hope this helps. sharla
