Need help and support

I have recently started walking again regularly. (Why do I always have to do this when it is freezing outside?) I have only been doing it twice a week (as opposed to every day), but am slowly building up my distance and frequency of it, so that I won't get bored as easily. I am pretty active aside from this. I figured that some was better than none. I am however, severely overweight and intend on doing something about it. I have a horrible thyroid condition as wella s polycystic ovaries. This has caused the majority of my weight gain. I am needing some drastic changes. I decided to follow an 1800 calorie diet. Does anyone have any menu suggestions or plans? I like to have my menus made out, so that I don't have to do a lot of thinking right before I eat. For me, I have found that it is easier to stick to is I do all the thinking at once. I don't eat any seafood and not a whole lot of meat. I guess I am kind of wanting something along the lines of a diabetic plan. All help is greatly appreciated!
I know drinking water is also key, however I gave up everything except ice water over 2 years ago.

Welcome. I get my menu's from the menu mailer. If you go to savingdinner.com you can click onto a link that lets you try a weeks worth of menus. I think they have a vegitarian meal plan. A friend gave me a subscription when I had my baby and I really like it. good luck. I think you will find lots of support here. sharla

Thank you! I had heard about them before, but wasn't sure that it was what I needed. I will give it a try. So it lets you choose calorie options?

No, she just gives you a weeks worth of dinners including sides and a grocery list. Check out the web site for a better explanation. She does list the fat/cals for every meal. You also might want to check out something like ediets. If you join the national weight loss challenge from discovery health channel you get something like 8 weeks of free menus. Go to the discovery health channel web site to sign up.
