well i didnt mean to lie to you all but it just happen as some as you may rememeber i bought that stupid new scale a few weeks back and it was telling all of us that we weighed more then we were thinking we did...... well my roomate called me last night while she was at work and was like well ya i went to the drs today and that scale is right she said she weighed herself before she left and it was about the same when she got to the drs .............sooooooooooooooooo this means i have only loss 4.5 pounds since oct
i thought i was down to 229 but last night after she called i checked the new scale and it said 240.5 and when i weighed my self this morning i weighed 237.0 and i started at 245.0 when i joined here
but i gotta get over this and not worry too much like my other roomate said at least you didnt gain weight he told me i should look at the positive and not the negative sometimes it just soooo easy to look at the negative though but im workin on it

Even if the scale does weigh more you have still lost the same amount of weight as you thought. It probably would have said that you weighed even more than you started. I would be really upset too, but think of it as a new starting place. Have you seen much difference in your clothes since Oct? sharla P.s. I would double check it with another scale. There is a small chance the Dr.s scale is wrong or your room mate had on very heavy clothes, shoes etc. Plus the time of day makes so much difference. He may have been comparing an afternoon weight at the Dr. to a morning buck naked weight at home.

I'd say there is a very good chance that the Dr.'s scale is wrong. I read somewhere that most Dr. office scales are off because they don't bother to regularly calibrate them. Besides, it really doesn't matter what the numbers are on your scale. As long as you are weighing on the same scale you can see if they are going up or down.

Well Let me see if I can relay this theory....do the math, the difference between the two scales...I think it will show you lost more than you think. Did that come out right? Do you understand what I am trying to say?

Also, I am now a firm believer not to let anyone else weigh on my scale because they get screwed up so easy. I get on it gingerly and get off gingerly. Hopefully this scale will last me a lot longer then the old one.
