Acutally all this time I have been changing my eating habits (Atkins from 6/15/2003 and other plans since Feb. of 2004) I never exercised. I joined Curves last Oct. I go MWF and have only missed 3 times. But now I am thinking of getting one of those WTPO tapes. And sussie, I used to have Richard Simmons tapes. I loved them. Maybe I will get one of those again. I don't know, I know I am going to add something different! lol

I also joined a Jazzercise class, but with my 12 year old daughter! We will go once/week...I go (well, try to go) 3X week to Curves, also.

And I've been walking my dog! He needs some weight loss support, too! LOL

Joining the class has been *alot* of fun for me but its something I would not have done pounds and pounds ago.

I have a question to those of you who go to Curves.........how's that going?

Well, I like it because it only takes me 30 minutes....I have very limited time due to my son's preschool schedule, so I can work out, get to the store, get home and unpack it and still get him picked up on time (this is a 2 1/2 hour time span).

I also like it because of the variety of machines, and as I get bored easily, I'm not on one for too long before its time to change! Also the women are very supportive and I don't feel intimidated or uncomfortable.

However, if you like even more variety, or free weights or "extras", Curves is not for you. It is a bare bones workout, so to speak.

It works for me, but I know some don't like it......However, running/walking, dvds, etc....bore me to tears, and this is something I have stuck with.

Hope this helps.

I agree with dawn. It is easy and everyone is upbeat and it is over in no time. Stephanie
