Hello, I'm new and needed some help.
I just started today and boy! I thought I was reducing but now I'm not sure
I weigh 246 and I'm 17 years old
I woke up walked a mile (walk away the pounds)
slim fast for breakfast
1 cup dry cheerios for mid morn snack
1 subway wrap with chips and diet soda for lunch
string cheese and sunflower seeds for preworkout meal
1.4 miles on treadmill walk/jog
apple sauce and bag of preztles for snack
slimfast for dinner
I really think this is too much but I get hungry
I drink lots of water and diet green tea w/splenda all day
any suggestions
I want to lose 35 pounds by may and 60 altogether

PS I have a ticker but its not working??

It doesn't sound like too much food to me...you COULD get rid of the chips at lunch in favor of a piece of fruit. Also, and I say this 'cause I know, not cause I follow my own advice, you are not getting enough veggies. In the past, when I lost weight, I tried to eat more whole grain bread (about 4-6 slices per week) and steered clear of wraps unless they were whole wheat. A friend pointed out the nutrition facts of my favorite wrap brand and I almost had heart failure!!! I thought they were healthy! Anyway, it sounds like you are getting a good amount of exercise and the meal replacements should help as long as they don't have a lot of sugar in them.

Thirty-five pounds is a lot for such a short time. I'm not saying that I've never seen it done but I'm quite sure it is not healthy. Is there an event at that time? Like, perhaps, your graduation? Good luck, Shea. I am new to the board as well and it looks like we have about the same amount of weight to work off--let's keep in touch :-) skye
