too hot working out

ok I am always warm - must be all this extra insulation. For the last several winters I do not usually even have to turn on the furnace in my cold midwest state. I am ok in 60-65 degrees. lower I may turn the heat on for a while. higher too warm. I have a fan going at work where everyone else is too cold, I am post-menopausal dr. said.so this is not the remnents of hot flashes as I had been thinking. I get so hot during my daily hour circuit training/aerobics workout it saps my energy and I have to stop for water frequently. they have fans going and the heat is down. does this happen to anyone else? no one else there seems to have a problem. I am finally losing weight (yeah down 12 lbs in 3 months since starting to work out)I had gained 4 lbs after listening to someone on this board say to increase my calories because I stay under 1000/day. 1200 even every other or third day is way too much for me. I have always maintained my overweight at 1000/day or less. I am adding low fat protein and trying to get more sleep, and eating an apple or yougurt for lunch, which I used to skip. all this which seems to help, or maybe it is the muscle I am building up in this 3rd month of using the weight machines.

Well for me if it gets to 50 degress, I am okay. I can even handle forty and be happy. We never turn on the heat to sleep with here in Texas...but it rarely gets cold down here near the coast.
If anything it is really hot here. And, it's humid! I feel like a crab in boiling heated water. That is why I never complain when it does get cold. I just try to enjoy it while it lasts.
My work buddies are always cold. And if they are so cold... why in the world do they come to work with sleveless shirts on? That is so STUPIED.
I too am always hot, but I don't think that I am as hot as your describing.

Congrats on your 12 pounds!
When I first started working out - for months in fact - I would get so overheated that I'd almost give up. I hate sweating, hate hate hate it. But I kept going and it got better. I guess my body just had to get used to it or something, I'm not sure.
Does your doctor know how few calories you're taking in daily? I know it's hard to grasp the starvation mode concept, but perhaps he could explain it to you better. I'm very worried about your blood pressure, particularly during workouts, with you eating so little.
