Well I like to do my cardio early in the morning after coming back from taking the oldest to school (while the baby is sleeping and the older one is playing on the computer). I then do my weights in the afternoon.
I do mine in the morning, right after my oldest leaves for school, about 9:15. I have the most energy then, and my youngest is still relatively quiet and calm. I also find that it gives me more energy for the day. I've tried working out in the afternoon, and I ended up being more tired.
I always work out after I get home from work. I am not a morning person, so I cannot get up early enough to work out before I leave for work. I'm less tired now that I've been walking everyday. I used to dread it.
I like to do mine in the morning if I have enough time. If not then I have to opt for late at night because I am really tired after I get home from work.
I am currently rehabilitating my knee so I have to workout during the mornings. This gets me going and also gives me a jumpstart in energy. When I go on my breaks, I take the elevator up three floors but always walk back down. If I am running late and don't have time to do my am workout, I really notice the difference. I am trying to break the habit of staying up late so I can get up early to do my workout everyday.
I too am jealous of everyone who can workout in the morning. My normal day starts at 6:00 a.m. as it is just so I can walk to work and I simply cannot make myself get up any earlier, it would hurt way too much.
My normal workout happens just as I get home from work. So before I put on dinner I change into my workout gear and get moving for at least thirty minutes. Then, at around 8ish, I do the weights and crunches to finish off the day.
On the weekends however I workout as soon as I get up. Keeps me going all day.
