I would be really mad and hurt. you know when they zoom in it makes everything look 10x as big. Then you add the extra 15 pounds that a camera is supposed to add. The people have to know they are filming them. How can you not see the camera? I know when I see a news station filming I turn and walk the other way.
By the way, are you feeling better today and did you watch lost last night? I am probably oversensitive, but I hate it when they show overweight people as sitting around doing nothing but watching TV. yeah,I admitt I do that a lot, but so do a lot of thin people. I also do other things.
OMG, Shawna! I cannot believe you said that! I am always talking about that! They do reports like that here all the time on the local news because Raleigh/Durham is getting to be one of the fattest cities. So, they show actual local people at the mall and stuff. I'm always saying to my b/f, "Man, if they put me on there and I recognize myself...I'm going into hiding. I'd be humiliated!!" lol.
Sorry, but yes, as long as they take the footage in public they can photograph what they want. I think they would only need the permission of management if they took the footage in, say, a mall.
I do see that they usually try to get the fat butt shot and not someone's face. Nice consolation, huh?
