I've gained a pound.......

I can't believe it. I gained a pound. This sucks so bad. I was watching my calories real good to. For a week, I tried not to go over 1500 cals a day. There were a couple of days I went over though and snacked at night. But I still can't beleive I gained a pound!!
This totally sucks.

It may be muscle weight gain....have you lost inches?

That has to be really upsetting after you have worked so hard. It could be muscle like susie said. Is it your TOM? I know I will gain that week only to lose a lot the week after. It is not uncommon to gain 3 or 4 pounds during that time. Also,are you writing everything down you eat. If you are eating a lot of little snacks the calories may be adding up. You might want to check your portion size. Last week I thought I was being good by eating a can of soup with my salad only to find it was 2 servings of soup which upped it another 150 calories. Are you exercising. I have also found that exercise helps my weight loss so much more than if I diet alone.
Hang in there and keep at it. The most important thing is to not give up. sharla
I don't know about inches, havent checked. I do write everything down and I went through and looked at my total cals for the day and they werent so good. Maybe thats why.
Here were my total cals for each day.
Mon 2037
Tues 1469
Wed 1540
Thur 2015
Fri 1420
Sat 2380
and Sunday I didnt keep track. But I probably went over 1500. So you can see that I only did good 3 days. Which sucks cause I tried. Guess I didnt try hard enough.
And I did walk on the treadmill 2 times last week.
I need to do ALOT better this week. And walk more. This week I WONT go over 1500. I have to keep saying that to myself.
