Is this the one for slow-cookers? If so, we have this one and really like it. It has been great in helping understand portion control. The author states that portion sizes are smallish and I found that I am willing to give up "bulk" for flavor. (It was a light-bulb moment for me!) If it is the same one, the recipe for Ruth's Slow-Cooker Chicken is fabulous and soooo easy. We are having fun with it. Let me know what you try. LK

Dr Phil has a cookbook out too called The Ultimate Solution Cookbook. His weightloss ideas seem to be very similar to WW in the long term. I havent read his other books but it seems he starts you out on a particular plan for a few weeks then you just eat healthy after that. There is a recipe for raspberry lemonade, guacamole, and all kinds of yummy stuff. I checked it out from the library so I will need to copy my recipes and turn it back in.

Have you had a chance to try anything from the fix it and forget it lightly cookbook? I saw it at the grocery store the other day and almost bought it, but I thought I would get your opinion first. sharla

Thanks for the suggestion. One of my biggest problems is how to make low-fat stuff the whole family will like. My two boys are so darn picky, and I am just not very imaginative at coming up with stuff. lol Definitely let us know if you try anymore recipes!!
