I had started a message a couple of days ago but my 'puter blipped it off. I was so mad!!!

Anyways, it was just a response to someone else's message. I, like a lot of you bit the big one this weekend. Today was a little better, although I ate a McDonalds Sundae, and a apple pie. Hopefully, tomorrow will I will be back on track.

In my other message, I was asking how if, before ya'll started losing weight, did any of ya'll feel as crappy as I do now? Feet hurt, knees hurt, winded, short of breath, muscle cramps, backache? Me and my 'ol man went to the mall last night, and I was so miserable.
It wore me out completely. Sometimes I get worried that there is something else wrong with me. I'm 43, and shouldn't be so shut down like this...no matter how fat I am. I have absolutely no energy. Wake up wanting to go back to bed, and am just so tired all the time. Is it just me?

I need to examine myself also, and join the rest of ya'll with a challenge. I need to make it challenging enough so I can feel like I've accomplished something, but the way I feel now, if it's too difficult, I'll lose interest. I mean, anything at this point seems so difficult.

Now, changing the subj...I have a question. To get the pretty signatures, and the little ticker-counter at the end of each message that some of ya'll have, did ya'll pay for the ivillage deluxe or whatever it's called? I was just wondering how that worked.

I'm gonna go now before my puter poots again.

Take care gals.

Hi Stacy,
Don't worry about this weekend. Just start over again today. I think one of the most important things towards a lifelong committment of weight loss is to be able to get back on when you have had a bad day. Just let us know if you need a good kick to get you going again. We have a couple ladies that are pretty good at that.LOL

I know I feel much better now that I have started exercising a losing weight. All the extra pounds puts a huge strain on your body. I just feel better and have so much more energy. I told myself that I was going to really concentrate on getting healthy for a month. If I still felt bad I was going to call the Dr.

You might start setting mini goals with a reward. I know a big one is to hit the 200 pound mark. Or you could set one at 20 pounds. The june challenge is a great one because we can achieve smaller goals instead of this huge one that is looming over our heads.

have a great day and I hope your computer stays up. sharla

I hear ya! I couldn't believe at 42 I was unable to walk around the mall. And, walking up the steep hill to our house was unthinkable. The first week I got back to walking I could only do a very slow 1 mile and then was wiped out the rest of the day. In four weeks I am up to 4 miles a day but my feet still hurt! I am hoping that as I lose more weight the feet will feel as happy as I d . Take it slow and the stamina will build up naturally. Best, LK

I have to ditto all the other responses.....

My feet, back, shoulders, and legs hurt. Before I started exercising, everything hurt, even my muscles and I felt extremly tired. It was like I could just go to sleep right then and there I was so tired.

But once I started exercising I started to get the energy back. I still get tired at the mall and have to sit in those incrediable comfortable chairs. And, I still can't stand for long periods of time but it's getting better all the time.

So I guess the ticket is to just exercise a little at a time until you are where you need to be at. I would suggest going to see the doctor and get on some kind of diet plan. Or what we call a new WOE (way of eating).
