What did you do for clothing while losing weight? What I mean is that since I have been losing weight I have gone down 2 sizes - I don't want to spend money to buy clothes that I may only wear for a month - but I obviously need to have clothes for work and such. I am down to 3 pairs of pants that are all to big now - but I don't want to spend a lot of money to buy smaller ones. UGH! :) People at work are starting to comment on how big my clothes are and that I need to get new ones..Don't get me wrong this is a nice problem to have but I wish I had the kind of money it takes to get new clothes once a month.

Thanks!!

Hey Melinda-first of all, super job working so hard that you are enjoying the feel of big clothes but I completely understand.

Well I put the word out at work that I needed clothes and that I was not ashame to wear used ones. God blessed me in that a co-workers wife had too many dresses and she gave me 20 dresses...some still had the tags on them others were like new.

I in turn gave the ones that did not fit in the arms to others who needed clothes. this woman has even given me more clothes since the first time. I just keep sharing with others.

I suggest you trade clothes with someone on this board. I am sure there is someone here who would trade clothes. You could give you size whatever to someone here and then again someone else here could give you what they have that is now too big for them.

I think that would be the greatest help someone here could do. Afterall we are sisters here are we not? And who borrows your clothes the most? Your sisters!

Some sugestions:
1)take your pants and get them altered.
2)Check out second hand shops.
3)Stores have really good end of season sales and quarterly sales! I myself, just got some Land's End jeans at Sears at the unbeleivably low price of $7.49 a pair! I bought 7 pair!
