Hey ladies,
I have been slacking big time. I've been struggling with eating for a few weeks now. It's stress... it started with youngest getting some sort of stomach virus thing that lasted for like two weeks, and it just seems like one thing after another from there. We're all stressed and getting on each other's nerves over here. lol And of course what's the first that goes when I'm stressed? The eating. A bit here, a bite there. So of course my energy level is down, so I've gone down to exersizing every *other* day (the opposite days I do stregnth training stuff--bought some resistence bands), plus I haven't been drinking enough water. Weighed myself this morning, and the scale said 239. I bought chocolate the other day, Cadbury's bars, the large ones, one each for me and DH for Easter. Made brownies (although granted, I did use egg white and applesauce in place of the eggs and oil). I feel awful, bloated and tired when I shouldn't be. Like I did before I decided to start losing the weight.
I'm very disappointed with myself, and I need to get my butt back in gear and figured I'd start here. Make myself post, so I make myself accountable again. I'm gonna make myself workout today, do at least twenty minutes on my exersize bike and work on getting in at least 8 glasses of water today.

Sorry you've been having a rough time lately...hopefully, things have calmed down for you...I hope your baby is feeling better.
I have the same problem in that I turn to food when I'm stressed...it seems so comforting at the time, but when food is misused, and we know we're abusing it, feelings of guilt and frustration emerge...which I assume is where you're at now.
Give yourself a break...almost everyone eats for emotional reasons now and again; some of us more often than others.

Thanks for all the support guys. I'm doing much better today, eating wise at least, but it's also my babies birthday today (my youngest is 5. Where does the time go???), so will be having pizza, and cake and ice cream tonight. Not motivated to exercise so far today (my legs are sore from all those squats yesterday! After seeing that one person did 80, I made myself do more yesterday afternoon. lol), but in light of tonight, I think I'll force myself.
Thanks guys. :) I think I"m too llate to post it, but I"m also journaling again, keeping track of my food intake.
