Well Im still nursing my injured knee (it has been swollen since last week...hurt it doing yard work). But yesterday I did only 45mins on the bike, then another 20mins for weight training. Today I did a 20min pilate work-out. I'd also like to say that I never knew that pilates could actually make you sweat! I will proabably be sore later on in the evening.
Ouch. You have my sympathy, hon. My inner thighs were killing me for at least two days after all them squats we did that one day. lol As for kind of exercise, I did one of the pre-programmed, er, programs set on my exersize bike--it simulated going up and down hills (I was 20 mph at one point...thought for sure there for a minute I was gonna take off. lol). I also did some crunches for my upper abs and left lifts for my lower abs (anybody know a better exercise for the lower abs?).
Soak in a warm bath! That always helps ease my sore muscles (oh, wait... maybe not. then you'd have get IN to and OUT of the tub. never mind. lol). Feel better soon, hon! Then get back up and do it again. :)
I did 45 minutes of Tae Bo and then pulled out my lift weights to lose weight video. I have a feeling I will be hurting tomorrow. It sounds like you had a great workout. sharla
