What are you proud of this week?

Sometimes we get so stuck on all the things we've done wrong that it's hard to remember what we've done right, so, I thought it would be fun and maybe even motivational to see what everyone has done this week that they are proud of.

I'll go first.

Most importantly, I got back on track with my healthy eating habits and have managed to lose a few pounds :).
I managed to not pig out at a party Friday night or at the movies last night!
Today I walked an extra 5 flights of stairs at work just to get the added exercise since I am currently not doing much of any.

So...who's next? :)

I'm proud of being able to fit into a dress that was too small only two weeks ago. Yeah! LK

I'm proud of myself for still watching my portions and eating as healthy as I could while going to a conference out of town and also celebrating a birthday this week!

Well, I've been rather disgusted with myself lately. I seem to get to about 235 and then do things to sabotage myself (I honestly am beginning to think it's because I'm scared to be thin again).

BUT...what am I proud of?? umm...well, I have done pretty good at getting most of my water in (I *know* I've gotten in at least 6 cups every day, though it's possible I've actually gotten it all in since Sunday) and I've made more of an effort to get my fruit and veggies in. I'm also proud of myself today. I had a cup of chocolate milk I probably could have done without, and the sugar I put in my coffee is like 200 calories I could drop if I just used Splenda instead, but foodwise, I think I did very well, right down to getting in 5 or 6 servings of fruit and veggies.

Thank you for asking.

I don't know that I deserve to be proud or not, but I finally dusted off one of my Tae-bo videos, and I have been doing the work-out every morning (well, the last two anyway), and I commit myself to doing it this morning too.

I also (for the very first time) did not snack after nine last night. I tried brushing my teeth again and crewing on some sugarless gum until I went to bed. That really helped!

It is non food related but Im proud anyway. I managed to fix my computer this week by myself. That was a great challange for me because I am a techno-phob. On the food front I went to my parents house to celebrate my sisters birthday and not one morsel of anything I shouldnt have passed my lips- including Doritos, CHEAT-O's (my fave junk food), ice cream, cake, and the softest eggroll buns you have ever felt! Yeah Me:)

Well, I am proud of the fact that I'm getting in my fruits/veggies (5 per day), I've been drinking tons of water, and I've exercised twice so far this week.

Thanks for making us write down all these great things! Congrats, everyone

Thanks for asking, Staci.

I'm proud of being able to cling to my insight of a couple weeks back and follow through. I finally realized that, for me, sticking to a plan that wasn't working is taking perseverance somewhere it was never intended to go! If I can't lose weight on 900-1000 super-healthy calories, largely because I can't exercise, then I have to take the calories lower 2 or 3 days a week, and for me the easiest way to do that is with liquids--healthy ones. The scale was stuck for ages. Now I've lost 4 pounds.

Every time I stop by this board and read even for the few minutes I can spare, I find inspiration and a tip or two I can use. You are an excellent group!

I am proud that pants I bought less than a month ago almost fell off at church sunday. Proud I have returned to the Y and worked out everyday so far since Sunday. (I will take Friday and Saturday off that's when DH is home) I am proud I have journaled my food truthfully (even if embarassed by what I ate)

Thanks for asking!
