Valerie,41,Ohio, 320/315/140, Healthy Weight Program,m...

1- garden this summer, work on yard to make it our own getaway space
2- passionate about caring for my family esp DH who as been very ill needs quality care
3- I know as I loose I will need new clothing -- but I think the biggest reward will be feeling comfortable enough on amusement park rides -- havent done it in a LONG time so I think I will get a weekend getaway to an amusement park -- stay at a hotel nearby ride all the coasters (twice LOL) NO KIDS (Unless they ride too-- he wont ride any coasters so I cant leave him standing there all alone)

Gee thanks for asking esp the reward part I hadnt really thought too much about that but I guess I really miss those rides

Hi all. I'm Joanne, I'm 32, and from Washington State.

Stats: 248/236/220 (for now)

1) What do I look forward to this summer? Oh lord, being WARM! lol I live in the Seattle area and for 9 months out of the year it seems like it's cold and raining (it rains, in some form or anoter, something like 300 days a year here). I hate being cold. lol Summer means HEAT. lol Okay, seriously, my MIL and SIL will be coming for a visit this summer. All our family lives in the Midwest and out East, so we're a bit isolated up here, and with money and time being tight, we don't get see family as much as we like. So we're all looking forward to seeing them.

2) What am very passionate about? Writing. I'm a romance writer. It's mostly a hobby; I love it too much to ever call it a "job", but I am actively pursuing publication. I love writing, and a good love story just makes *siiiigh*. lol

3) Rewards for losing weight--yes, clothing! I've been holding off, buying the bare minimum. I particularly want (god I'm blushing beet red!!) lingerie, sexy stuff. And tighter shirts (usually wear big, baggy shirts that cover everything) and more jeans. Really really trivial thing, but man I'm so looking forward to it. lol

1) Well last summer I was pregnant and couldnt do anything. This summer I can't wait to get out and about and go to the festivals we have in town.

2) Hmmmm, Im passionate about so many things.

3) I dont have any awards planned. But I know that everytime my pants size decrease, the most joyful sensation takes over my entire body and I feel good!

Hi all, My name is Karen and I live in Maryland. I am happily married to a great guy and have 2 wonderful boys, 7 and 13.I have been exercising for 5 weeks now and I feel GREAT!!
I haven't lost very much weight(only 13 lbs) but I have lost alot of inches. I did South Beach for 2 weeks but have added my own style to it for right now. It seems to be working for me, so I will stick with it.
I work for Head Start, so I have only 23 days left till school's out for summer!! I will be enjoying my freedom this summer and working on my degree. My passions right now are kids. I love them with all my heart and my husband and I are hoping to adopt a child this year. I recently joined Big Brothers/ Big Sisters and enjoy volunteering, too. The only reward I want from losing weight is to be healthy and live a great long life. Plus some new clothes wouldn't be too bad, either.
