Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can offer me some help with this. I do the Leslie Sansone Walk away the Pounds workouts. I do them every day, 7 days a week, I alternate the 2 mile plus 10 min tone on one day, then the 3 mile on the next day, and so on. I have also started walking 45 min in the evening, daily. I have lost a lot of inches, but the cale will not move. I record everything that I eat, and I am sort of watching carbs and fats. Here is a sample menu:
Breakfast: 1/2 c old fashioned oatmeal, 1/4 c 1% milk, 3/4 strawberries
Snack: celery sticks w/ dressing for dip, 15 grapes
Lunch: 2 cups of salad (lettuce, onion, roasted chicken), 2 tbsp light dressing, 1 deviled egg.
Snack: sugar free choc pudding with 2 tbsp lite cool whip
Dinner: Chicken breast, 1/2 c carb clever fruit cocktail, 1/2 c green beans
After dinner, I do not eat nothing else.
This is very frustrating, I have been exercising for 5 weeks now, and have only lost 14 lbs. What am I doing wrong?? Does anyone have any suggestions?? Do I need to rest a day in between workouts?? Please help before the giant chocolate monster sees that I am down and attacks me. Karen

LOL Karen, The giant chocolate monster!! That's a new one.
Well I am hardly and expert here since I am just starting, but I think that once you are losing inches, then this is a good thing. The scale should never be the only indication. You are probabely losing fat and gaining muscle weight. And since the gained muscles are "smaller" in size than the lost fat, you're losing inches and you're looking slimmer, which is what really counts!!
Keep up the good work!!

Karen, first off...CONGRATS on the 14 lb.weightloss!!!!!! Second, from the looks you are doing everything right, and in all honesty, you don't want to lose to quickly...14 lbs. in 5 weeks is perfect! And you say you've lost inches as well, well that shows that your making progress. You have to remember that while your working out,you will build muscle...so the scale may not show a big loss like you'd want to see.By keeping track of inches lost, you can see the progress even when the scale doesn't show anything.
