What are we proud of this week?

Since I loved hearing everyone's responses to this question last week, I thought I'd ask it again this week. I'll go first! :)

I took the puppy for a walk yesterday and we kept up a good pace, about 4 mph, despite the fact that I practically had to drag him along a couple of times. We walked for a total of about 30 minutes and also jogged a total of about 5 minutes, which was almost 1/2 a mile. I would have ran more, but he kept stopping and getting tired and trying to run right under my feet. I haven't tried to do any real exercise in a while and definitely haven't tried running in forever, so YAY!

Also, I am sooooo proud that I got back on track after all of the bad day's I've been having and that I haven't let them ruin all my hard work!

I've watched my diet and have exercised everyday this week and have no feelings of giving up anytime soon.I've been walking 1 mile a day(plan on up'ing that soon)and am doing 30 minutes of pilates(which holy cow can I feel the difference)everyday.

Well, I just started on Tuesday but am proud of the fact that I didn't cheat once. Kept my calories right around where I wanted them and didn't give in to any temptations. Haven't had any bad foods at all. Hoping for another good week!

I agree, I love reading through these. They're such a great motivator.

Okay, for me, I'm proud that I drank 10 glasses of water every day this week, exercised every day this week (If my husband would only get out of bed, I could exercise this morning...our stupid house is so small, my exercise bike only fits in the bedroom. UGH. lol)....and aside from my Burger King binge last night (which ironically only put me about 100 calories over my daily 2200 goal), I've been doing pretty good eating wise. Not perfect, but better than I have been. I'm looking better and I feel terrific. :)

Are you asking about Pilates? If so, it's for flexibility and stranthening your core A.K.A your tummy and back. There are tons of different Pilates programs out there, so it shouldn't be hard to find a tape of it. Some of them might be difficult to do though, so I would look for one with varying degrees of difficulty. I found a great one at my local Walmart called "Pilates for weight loss". It's great because it has a modified, partially modified, and regular version of the whole program, so, when you are just starting you can do the modified, then move to partially modified and finally to regular. Even the modified workout is great for working the mid-section.

Yeah, I was...and that's exactly why--my tummy and back seriously need strengthening (I have back problems, too). Thanks so much for the info! Will definitely go looking for that one!

I'm glad everyone seems to be doing well with their exercise...I've been a slacker on that front, but you guys make me want to go home and do my pilates workout!
