My Inspiration

I went to my in-laws house this weekend, and I was shocked to see my mother-in-law has lost 57lbs!!!! I haven't seen her in a couple of months, and I could not believe my eyes when we walked in the door. She has always been kind of heavy, but she finally got to her highest weight in early January. She said she had just had enough! She didn't want to be fat the rest of her life. She needed to lose about 75lbs. She said she just modified her diet to lose the weight. She was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in December(which is what I have). She said she just started buying sugar free everything, and she doesn't eat more than one starch on her plate at mealtimes. She cut out sugar, caffeine, white bread, white potatoes, white rice, and switched to 1% milk and PRESTO! She is definitely my inspiration to keep pushing on through the cravings and JUST DO WHAT I NEED TO DO!!! Her clothes are hanging off of her now, and she has tons of energy. I am so proud of her!!

I will definitely pray for you! It's hard to stay on track sometimes, but I know you can do it!
