Here's all the willpower I have coming your way! Good luck on resisting the temptations and great job on holding out for so long. I've been dealing with the willpower monster lately, too, and it's HARD. Just the other day, I actually had a really strong craving for brownies, too, and my boyfriend had a box of brownie mix AND german chocolate cake mix (drooling) in his cupboard. I knew that if we made them up, I wouldn't be able to stop with just 1 or 2 servings, so we didn't make them. But, I did make a really healthy dinner that night and ate healthy all day, and then we went for a nice relaxing drive...and stopped by TGIFriday's for dessert. We had the ultimate brownie sundae and I was in HEAVEN. I didn't even feel bad about it afterwards, because I only had half of it and after it was gone, it was gone. It satisfied my craving and I didn't have to eat the whole pan of brownies at home :). GOOD LUCK dealing with the craving monster and keep us posted. And if you fall off track, don't worry, just jump back on and it'll barely be a bump on the road.
ROTFL!! OMG, Jules, I feel for you. I get the same way every single month. You know what? I read something on Denise Austin's website....she said it's about control, not deprivation. So if you must have something "bad", eat three bites of it, then throw the rest out. I can't do it, because I'm an all or nothing kind of person, but thought I'd throw that out there. OH! And I found these weightwatchers ice cream/brownie things (frozen) somebody recomended on here. YUM. Low-fat and and fantastic for the chocolate craving...tastes sinful. Haagan Daaz Mango Sorbet, as strange as that sounds, also does it for me. It's got a terrific smooth "mouth-feel", so it feels like I'm eating something sinful but I'm not.
Good luck, hon! You can do it!! Just keep reminding yourself how awful you'll feel afterwards if you do.
