Lol...I loved the 80's! My all time favorite movie was The Outsiders.
I mean...hello?! Who wouldn't love a movie with cast of:
Matt Dillon .... Dallas 'Dally' Winston
Ralph Macchio .... Johnny Cade
C. Thomas Howell .... Ponyboy Curtis
Patrick Swayze .... Darrel 'Darry' Curtis
Rob Lowe .... Sodapop Curtis
Emilio Estevez .... Keith 'Two-Bit' Mathews
Tom Cruise .... Steve Randle
I loved the whole greasers vs. soc's.I know...I'm a dork!
OMG! I wish I was still in the 80's. It was the best! Some of my favorite movies were:
Pretty In Pink
Breakfast Club
Karate Kid
Outsiders
I just loved Ralph Macchio back then. LOL!
Also, remember jellie shoes and jellie bracelets, members only jackets, leg warmers, half shirts, ripped jeans, tons of bracelets on your arms, those belts that layed crooked on your waist, swatch watches. I'll have to think of some more things!
OH What a decade!!! That is when I can say I had the best time of my life.
My one all time favorite ingenious movie was Back to the future. I thought the plot was
so imaginative and well thought out that I never stopped laughing.. Remember Calvin...(his
underwear). It was so great . George Mcfly lying in bed seeing an alien playing an Eddie
VanHalen guitar solo. And the music .ZZTOP Duran Duran Madonna and so on and and so .. I
was always dancing.....
I'd totally forgotten about the Outsiders!
Well, I really hate to date myself, but I don't really remember too many movies of the 80s...I think my favorite movie of the 80s during the 80s was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and movies :)...but that would have been very late 80s, maybe even 90. My favorite 80s movies now are the Molly Ringwald movies; they're great! :)
