Twice a week, I work out at 5 a.m. Its before my kids get up for school, and I can get it over with. On 2 other days, I work out at night since that is when they offer Jazzercise.

I prefer to get my exercise done int he morning...then I can't find a reason to NOT do it and I also feel better than if I do it at any other time.

I work out at noon.I try not eating breakfast till about 9am or so,and can't exercise right after eating...bleh!Starting Over is on at noon,so I figure its a nice way to get in my walk on the treadmill while watching that...and then have lunch at about 1-1:30pm.Any other exercises(like workout tapes)are done in the evenings when everyone else is downstairs.

I'm with you...I workout as soon as I my Ds off to school, which is about 9-ish. I do it for several reasons--because, like you said, if I don't do it then, my energy wanes and then I don't do it at all. But I also find that it gives me a huge energy boost for the day. I feel terrific all day plus I'm more apt to eat better. I also notice that if I don't exercise, I'm tired and sluggish all day. I am trying to add an afternoon workout, too, though, just to up my exercise time.

With me it varys with the day. This morning I went to the gym early because my husband is off work for several weeks. We want to start a routine of both of us going early at least while he doesn't have to go to work. I usually do it around 6:30 after the kids have had their bath and are ready for bed. When my husband is gone I do it mid day because that is when the baby sleeps. sometimes I throw the baby in the stroller and go for a walk late morning when both the girls are in school. Mostly I do it when I can find the time. sharla

Im a morning person. If I don't get my exercises done in the morning hours (while my little ones are down for their first nap) then I wont get it in at all during the day. It just seems that when the day goes on theres to much to do or Im just plain lazy.

I find that I have to do it when I wake up or I don't do it at all. The hard part is swinging my feet on the floor at 5:00 every morning when that bed feels so good! I'm hoping that will get better with time. But I feel better through out the day if I workout in the morning.

I usually do my workout first thing in the morning, which means getting up at 5:30. Then I will walk in the evening after dinner at the park. But I will even do a workout at nite if I have the energy. Karen 238/217/145

I work out in the mornings as well, although for me, it's evening time. I work overnights and sleep around 8 or 9 - 4pm. I'm at the gym no later than 6am, though I try to be there when they open at 5. I find that if the first thing I have to do when I wake up is go the the gym, I put it off until it's too late (the bf is home, it's dinner time, I have places to be, the gym is closed, whatever)... But if I go in the morning, I get a great workout in, a nice long shower or hot tub to relax, an hour or two (and a small protein shake or something) to myself to do some reading or meditating. It's the ONLY way my body works properly :)
