Hello All, I am new to the boards, and am very down on myself right now. I really want to get moving with losing the weight I need to, but it seems like I get back on the ball for a month or so and then fall right back off again. I'm trying to get back on track and stay with it, but I know I am in desperate need of support. A few years back I was on the boards here and it helped me out a lot, so I decided to join up again. I'm trying to come up with a few different support groups so I can be accountable in many places.

I'm 25 years old and a cancer survivor. I just completed Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society and it was another kick in the butt to me that I need to get myself in better health.

Hello and welcome. I really hope you find the support you are looking for here. Many of us have problems with doing well for about a month and then falling off the wagon. One thing that realy seems to help is to set small goals of 10 or 15 pounds. I look forward to getting to know you during the next few months. sharla

Congratulations on surviving cancer! Agreeing with Lori - you are truly an amazing woman!

Welcome here as well! We are all struggling with weight issues and it's a battle for me on a daily basis. You are making a step in the right direction realizing you need to start eating healthy after battling cancer. You sound like you have a great foundation in knowing what you need to do - you have an eating plan (WW), water and exercise. Now, just put it into motion. Here's where you get the support. Down at the bottom, there's a place to post a daily food journal, or you can use www.fitday.com.

Come here to post how you're feeling, questions on exercise, recipes or just general chit chat. The women here are great and we're all on different plans so it's nice to get some ideas from other people.

Good luck to you and post here often!
