Well, what stats did you put in, your current weight and activity level? What I would suggest is putting in your current weight and activity level, and then subtracting 1000 calories. That will put you at a deficit of 7000 calories per week, which is enough to lose 2 pounds....
Okay so I put in --- 5'5" --- 300lbs --- 52 years old --- Female --- very light --- answer 2,850 calories. So now your saying to subtract 1,000 calories okay....1,850 sounds better.
Yup! The number that it gives you with your current stats is basically what you need to take in if you wanted to maintain your current weight. So take that and subtract however many calories (the 1000 is a good amount, because it takes 3500 calories to equal one pound of fat loss, so 1000 a day means 2 pounds per week), and there you go!
Make sure, as well, that if you're doing any more activity than what you plugged in, you add enough calories into your diet to cover that as well :)
