Most important thing is not to give up. You will get past this, but it will just take some time. Really look at what you are eating. Do you have some foods sneaking in like a bite of chips etc. Are your portion sizes getting bigger. Are you exercising enough? How is your water...are you getting 64 oz in each day? If you are doing everything right then maybe you need to change something. Instead of doing 30 minutes of exercise do a 45 minute video one day and a 30 minute walk the next day. Believe it or not this will make a big difference. Are you eating the same thing every day? Try something different. You can also play around with your calories. One day eat 1500 and the next add an apple and eat 1600. Good luck and keep us updated. sharla

water yes.. I have a slight cold so I cant seem to get enough to drink so thats not a problem.. as far as chips we have those New light ones that are really LOW in calories which I dont eat alot of due to the salt content we have been counting the calories in everything and are on a low calorie diet I think I will just add more exercise.. I just though AF is coming up in the next few days so that could be it

Hi there:

Everyone plateaus differently. Since we're all doing pretty different things, some people lose rather quickly, stave off, then lose again. Others make a steady loss for a while, then hit the wall. No matter what happens, it's important to remember that a plateau is our body's way of saying it needs time to adjust to this new thing you're doing. Don't fret, and DON'T GIVE UP! 21 pounds is awesome and I for one look forward to hearing about your next 21 pound loss!

I feel and know your pain!

I have been at 300 pounds plus or minus for 5 weeks. I just can't seem to jump-kick start what I need to do to start losing weight.

Basically I am lazy. PERIOD. THE END. I think that I am so stressed out that I am just veggin out.

I need to exercise, I need to journal my food, but I REALLY hate both of these things!

Started pool exercise on Monday that was not bad...but GOD I need help.
