HI!, and welcome to the board. Conrats on your weight loss so far !.. I still have around 128 lbs to lose, and I do the Walk Away the Pounds video and also do as many crunches as I can. This group gives great support , and when u need it, a good Kick in the bootay lol. Please feel free to ask any questions, I'm sure we will all try to help as much as we can. Hope u enjoy the board, and GL on your weight loss journey.

Hi and welcome to the board. Thats great about your wight loss so far! I mix up all kinds of exercise--I hate to exercise, but still make myself do it. I do Tae-Bo, Walk away the pounds series, Yoga Crunch Series, The Firm, walk, trying to start jogging. Anything--I do them all.

Hi there
I'm a newer person to this board as well and it has been great! It's nice to have a place to talk about the unique struggles of trying to loose a large amount of weight.
I am following the South Beach Diet and have lost 12.4 lbs. since May 16. I try to exercise daily. Most mornings I take a 30-45 minute walk and I go to the gym several times a week. On the non-gym days, I do the Walk Away the Pounds 2 mile walk and lift 5 lb weights.

Welcome to the board! I look forward to reading about your progress!

I have about 175 pounds to loose but i only think about one pound at a time or I would fail for sure. I walk after the sun goes down with my schnauzer ziggy. I have medical problems so walking is hard and lil ziggy doesnt judge me :-), I mainly do sit ups, push ups, leg lifts. No aerobics for me. I too like to see what others are doing. Now that the kids are home for the summer my time is limited, no lengthy work outs for me. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi and welcome to the board. Congrats on the weight lost!! Keep it up!!
For me, i hate excercising, so i use a stationary bike infront of the TV. This way i don't get bored or fix my eye on the clock. Sometimes in the afternoons when the weather is nice, i take a walk with hubby or walk my son in the stroller. I excercise 3 times a week (i'm taking it slow cuz i want to start a habit)

Hi Brandy - welcome to the board. My advice is to find an eating plan that works for you and make sure you move your body doing something you enjoy. LK

Boy, I agree. Just making sure we get our bodies moving, whatever that movement is, is a great start. Kristi :o) <><
