Hi everyone! I'm Terri, 24, living in Michigan! I've been married to DH for almost 3 years and we have no children yet.

For as long as I can remember, I've always been the biggest member of my family. But around my family and friends, it never mattered. After moving from my hometown in West Virginia to DH's hometown in Michigan 7 months ago, I started feeling a lot more insecure about going out in public for any reason. We've just had so much going on, that I kept putting off the exercise and cooking heathly meals. We've basically lived off of microwaveable foods. Yesterday, I put on my size 24 jeans and noticed they were tight! I refuse to buy a bigger size!! Last night, I dug through all the boxes that I have still yet to unpack and found an aerobics tape that someone had given me years ago that I used, enjoyed, and saw results with. This morning, I rolled out of bed and was actually able to make it through 30 minutes of the aerobics! I feel great! I had so much energy afterwards that I did the house cleaning in 1/2 the time than it usually takes me!
I'd like to join a gym, but right now money is super tight for us, so I'll have to make do with what is available to me and that is walking (luckily we live in a neighborhood that is perfect for walking) and the aerobics tape.

Right now, I'm at 262lbs. My ultimate goal is to make it down to 140.

Welcome to you! I love your spirit! I've always remembered in the "old days" women exercised with cans of soup and vegetables for weights and did exercise to Jack LaLane on the t.v. That was a long time ago! But women made do with what they had. Good to see someone else doing that! Kristi :o) <><

not only in the "old days".. women still do this.. ask me LOL!!
