I've been reading alot lately about the benefits of weight training, and I've started a program at the gym to get going with it.

Hey there....
I do indeed do some weight training... I also do cardio of course! but i really feel the benefits of weight training because it is such empowerment not too mention it doesnt hurt to be able to flex your arms & have something there! I really enjoy it & would definitely reccomend it to slim down.

Interesting question.. I want to start weight training, but afraid to injure myself.. anyone with tips for beginner??

Even if you're going to do it at home, you should have a couple of sessions with a trainer so you learn the correct way. I didn't do that, but I do have friends who have worked out with weights for years so I watched & learned from them. Start slow & build up so you don't injure yourself.
