Good for you! You'll be able to concentrate on what really counts!
The batteries are starting to run low on mine (digital). I hope they run out soon, so I'll stop stepping on the thing. lol

I think I'd be at the store within the hour to replace mine if it were to break, lol. I think I'd go into weighing withdrawals or something haha. My mom and I have discussed the fact that we both have a problem We can't stay off the scale !! ..but hey, I'm trying atleast :).. good luck with it :)

I admire you for not buying a new one--I don't think I'd be able to do it! For some funny reason, I can live forever without a scale when I'm not trying to be healthy (hmmm...wonder why ;)?), but when I'm trying to be healthy and lose weight, I love seeing the numbers go down. It's one of my greatest motivators, because I don't tend to lose pants sizes quickly--with my height and build, it takes about 25 lbs to go from a 20 to an 18, an 18 to a 16, etc. That's just TOO LONG for me to wait to see the results. LOL. I've always been an impatient child :).

Well I was already wondering if I could months without weighing in, like that challenge that was mentioned a while back.
