Hello, all!
I am starting round 3 of what I call "Operation ditch the flub" and I thought I'd join here for both support, and some accountability!! My name is Melissa, I'm 24, and I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I'm a legal secretary and I live in NY.
Today is day 2 of my diet. I currently weigh around 260 lbs (don't own a scale, going by what I was a few months ago. I'm buying one next week!) and I should weigh between 130-150, acording to the doc. That means I need to lose at LEAST 110 lbs, so here I am!! I am basically just doing a low-cal, low-fat diet and cutting out refined sugars and baked goods. I use fitday.com to track what I eat daily, I journal there, and I love it.
Now, on to the questions!!
What is a good minimum/maximim calorie intake per day?
WHat is a good maximum fat intake per day?
What about supplements? Is anyone using them?
