I've been here before. But I guess part of me can't quit, I really need some help getting started. Please help me. Tammy 58 yrs old and 110#s to lose.

HI Tammy.. Im DEb 46 and at easter i could hardly heck i couldnt even go shoppping it hurt so bad to walk.. But here I am Im walking all over.. I know how hard at our age it is to lose weight but i found coming here and keeping a food journal and weight record really has me sticking this time...I try to take things one day at a time sometimes an hour at a time to just get through.. If you need a buddy I'm here

Hi, Tammy. You're not alone. I just turned 54 and I should lose about 100 pounds. I try hard not to concentrate on the big number. Tell yourself you want to lose 10% of your current body weight. It's a much more doable number. Then, when you've done that, work on the next 10%.
