My fiance was recently diagnosed with diabetes. On top of that he fell down a flight of stairs a year and a half ago and his back is messed up. He's so bad that he is trying to get disability because he can't work. He's steadily been getting worse and worse and cannot in any way exercise. He can barely walk the house. He's been told he needs to lose 100lbs for his diabetes but like I said he cannot exercise and he's been dieting since he found out. He has lost nothing but also hasn't gained any either. I guess what I am asking is if anyone has any suggestions on how he can lose weight without exercising or starving himself. I don't know what to do. I know that if he lost even some like 20-30lbs he'd be able to move around more and finally exercise. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The two of you could talk to his doctors
Hi,
You would need to get his Doctor's ok, but you could try and get him into the arthritis foundation water exercise at a senior pool. It is very good exercise for people who are heavy. I'm only 45 and have severe arthritis in all joints and the water exercise really helps me. Also at collage video you could get chair exercises for him also. To help his diet, try taking green tea, or crominium picolinate. I also take these and I'm finally starting to lose weight. Hope this helps.
Have a great day!!
