Hi Board,
Here I am again.. determined to lose this weight. oh, I would say about 110 pounds.
I have tried any and everything, including liquid diets and ALMOST Gastric Bypass surgery. ( decided since it wasnt BRAIN surgery and would never change how I think about and why I USE food, that I should not go that route. )
I am currently counting calories because this allows me to eat whatever I want in controlled amounts.
This is DAY ONE, and I will surely need everyone support.
Thanks in Advance!! :)

Welcome to the board I agree with the whole Gastric Bypass thing and how it wont change how you think about food. Anyway wecome and good luck
Lexi
Hi Lexi,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. :)
Yesterday was my first day, and I didnt do very well. I did fine all day long, and then when dinner time came, I blew it. somebody offered to take me out for chinese food, which I love.. and even though I had eaten all of my calories for the day, I was hungry, so I went.
I will learn from that; I had two unplanned snacks during the day that used up alot of calories, and left me none to spend on dinner; I was hungry, so of course I ate!
I will NOT beat myself up about it. its done, I see what mistakes I made, and today is a new day.
I have 108 pounds to lose, its not going to happen over night, but I refuse to give up. one pound at a time... I tell myself that I have to lose 10 pounds 11 times...
Thanks again!
Hi Cl,
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Exercise.. boy.
I know thats something I need to do. long story short:
I have developed Plantar Faciaitis (sp?) in both feet, which is a bummer; I was walking 1 hour a day for a while on the treamill ( 3 mph ) and then took it outside when the weather got nice, but then I developed this condition in my feet, which basically ended the walking.
I have an indoor bike, as well as many, many weight training for women tapes; I really need to get started.
At one time, I did the weight training tapes and got into good shape, but then I got burned out on them.
I am thinking of starting an abbreviated version of weight training again-- maybe 30 minutes per day rather than 45 minutes or an hour, and also throw in some time on the bike. I know I need to do it, its getting started thats the hardest part!
<<<<<. I tell myself that I have to lose 10 pounds 11 times...>>>>>
I like that. I'll have to tell myself that I have to lose 10 pounds 16 times.

I'm not really familiar with the pain associated with Plantar Fasciitis, so would something like rebounding be out of the question?
