Oi! After journalling my past two really bad food days, I'm in!!
So far, I've briskly walked 20 minutes (and will do so again on the way home, if it's possible with the heat). Then, hitting the machines in my building for an hour and a few slow laps in the pool as a reward.
I went to the gym last night 8/4, after missing one night. I met with my buddy who had to work late so our workout was cut short. I only did a little over 30min of cardio. Tonight we get off early so we will be able to work out more. Saturday we work together too, so we are going after work. (We don't work every Saturday, just a couple every quarter.)
I am only at 15minutes on each of those machines. Do you like the elliptical? I find it awkward for me to use. I know it's suppose to be a smooth, flow. I just can't get use to it! Hopefully one day I will be able to just flow with it. I love the treadmill!
I do like the elliptical, but it took me a while to get used to it. I've been using it for about four years now. Of all the machines I use, the stairclimber is the one that is the hardest work--if you don't hang on to the handles or hunch over. I'm using the treadmill right now because the indoor track area isn't very well air conditioned, and I get too hot. Otherwise, I prefer walking around the track.
Don't worry--you'll build up your endurance on all the machines.

(Doesn't sound bad...)
