Weighing yourself.

I'm terrible I weigh myself FAR too often only to discover I've put weight on, when really it is just water or something...
Any idea how to stop myself from wanting to weigh myself only to be dismayed again!! I'm a slave to the scales and currently they are increasing for no good reason!!!
Keep me away from them...sorry for crazy rant, just felt like it :)

Well, I've definitely been there, and I'll tell you what helped me.
The scale for me is a two edged sword.
If I weigh daily and either stay the same or lose, then I stay on track. If I gain then I justify cheating.
If I weigh weekly I can't keep on track at all. Out of sight, out of mind takes it's toll on any feable efforts I make.

what I really need is someone to sneak in and adjust my scale so it looks like I lose .2
My trainer will weigh me (and both of my Dr's will weigh me) but other than that, I don't weigh myself. I'm not into how much I weigh, just how good I look. Is that shallow? If my legs are hot, my stomach getting flatter and my arse getting tighter than I am a HAPPY girl. I want to be a size 12-14.
I actually think I just figured out what you guys mean when you do the three weights. Am I correct it is "highest weight/current weight/goal weight"? I can start adding that, except I am currently at my highest weight and since I am prego I don't know how that is gonna go. I also am not sure about my goal weight. When I was between 185-215 I was my happiest. I have a feeling the weight is not going to come off the way it went on, so I figure I will have to probably drop below that weight and then let it come back up a little after I get the fat off the right places.
Once again, sorry-- I am not good at being short & sweet.
Have someone you live with hide the scale from you, and just pull it out on a calendared weigh day - one a week/month or whatever. Then it goes back into hiding.
