Curves?

Hi Ladies-
So I did some soul searching over the weekend, and also kept a food journal. I'm really not over-eating, and I don't eat poorly at all. I don't make separate meals for my toddler - he eats what DH and I eat. I refuse to start him out in life with a love of processed foods, so we are all eating lots of fruit/veggies/healthy proteins/whole grains. So, while I will start cutting back on my portions, I truly feel that I need to incorporate a lot more movement into my day. All these women who claim they stay trim by chasing a toddler around are full of poo, lol.

There is a Curves very close by to my house, but because I'm a stay-at-home mom we live on a very tight budget. I know I could just go in and find out the cost of joining, but I'm impulsive with stuff like that and I'm worried I would just join regardless of the impact to our budget - especially since now I'm so eager and motivated. So I'm hoping some of you who are members wouldn't mind telling me what sort of plan you're on and how much you're paying/paid? I realize the fees may vary from franchise to franchise - I'm just wondering if it's in the affordable ballpark for us. Otherwise I won't bother to raise the subject with DH.

Now I'm going to get dressed, put Dylan in his stroller, and hope he'll sit there for 30 minutes while I walk around the neighborhood!

Thanks!
Grim

Hey there!

I didn't go to Curves, but I did a similar place, Slender Lady for a while.
