Just needing a good whack

Each week I set myself up to do great. I always do wonderful on Mondays and tuesdays and by Wednesday I lose any motivation. I have tried pushing through hoping that I'll gain momentum, but this last week I just caved. It's not like I was super busy - I wasn't. Mostly I just sat and played with signatures. I am losing - (Have lost 4 pounds in the last two weeks), but I haven't been able to work the kinks out of my system yet and I'm just getting tired! Typically, I walk 2 miles, 3 days a week. It takes me about an hour and 15 minutes (just walking, not going fast). The dogs LOVE it, but being that we have spent the last few months in 100+ degree heat, I just die when I come in from it. I do walk in the early morning so as to beat the heat, but here we have the "air we can wear". I'm sorry I'm complaining....just needed to vent!

Congrats on the 4 lbs lost. You're already on the right track and IMO you need a cheer, not a whack! Small changes matter a lot. I don't think it is realistic to set a goal of being 100% perfect in your eating & excercise just like that. Bad habbits took a while to sink in, and good habits will also take some time to settle. And believe me, you want to set good habits instead of just "going on a diet" then returning back to poor food choices and gaining everything plus some. Don't be too hard on yourself (but don't take this as an excuse to slack either). Good luck!
