I am not talking GP. I have not seen him in years. Last time I went to see him he had me on two types of hormone altering pills, was brow beating me to take two types of asthma medications and was hinting at a diabetes drug even though I did not officially have diabetes. Oh and then there was that diet pill that he wanted me to take. We were talking somewhere in the neighborhood of $200 per month for medications. I was crying at the drop of a hat, the asthma meds did not help (he tested me on and off the meds) and the side effects of the two other drugs he wanted me on were unacceptable in my opinion. My last visit to him had me off to an allergist, which is exactly what I asked for, but

I did avoid going to my doctor, but I only really stopped after the last bout with new allergies.


I have known about my allergy to nuts since I was a little girl. I was about 6 years old when I was rushed to emergency. In a way that is when I learned how to read labels.
